2023 THE CODING PLACE SUMMER CAMP
Greetings Camp Families,
We are delighted to welcome you to The Coding Place's Summer STEM Camp 2023, located conveniently in the center of Bergen County, New Jersey. Our camp offers a diverse range of courses that are both engaging and memorable. This summer, we are putting a special emphasis on AI. Our students will not only learn about AI but also have the opportunity to design and build the future. Our research projects in small groups will help develop confidence, creativity, and teamwork skills among our participants.
After mastering the fundamentals of computer programming, students will have the opportunity to showcase their skills by preparing for and earning official certificates in Python programming. This will not only validate their knowledge but also provide them with a tangible credential to add to their resume or academic portfolio.
Join us this summer and watch your children's potential soar as they discover their passion for STEM!

We have found that the traditional lecture model of education, which relies on a one-to-many instructional approach, may not be the most effective way to engage and educate our students. Therefore, we have adopted a more dynamic approach that combines teacher-led lectures, individual study, and group discussions. This method involves a student-to-student peer-driven learning approach, where students perform research on given subjects and engage in discussions with their peers to gain a deeper understanding of the material.
At our summer camp, we implement this approach every day, utilizing all three methods to achieve the most effective and fruitful results. By incorporating multiple teaching techniques, we can cater to different learning styles and encourage active participation from all students. As a result, we expect significant improvements in our students' comprehension and retention of the material, leading to better academic performance and overall success.
We offer a wide range of courses tailored to the age and proficiency of each student. Our math curriculum includes Algebra, Geometry, Probability/Statistics, Trigonometry, Pre Calculus, AP Calculus, SAT Math, and American Math Competition Prep.
Our research program aims to equip students with valuable skills in areas such as AI, Robotics, Block Chain Technology/Cryptocurrency, Biology, Brain Science, Physics, and English. Students will develop skills in discussion, presentation, and journal recording, enabling them to pursue their research interests effectively.
